If there is one actor in the Indian Film Industry who can be termed as Versatile, it has to be Amitabh Bachchan. Ever since I have started watching movies, personally have never come across a single role of Amitabh that looks akin to the previous one. The first movie of this great legend that made an impact on me was definitely Sholay. The commendable Jodi of Jai and Veeru became the talk of the town. I remember, people in my school would compare their friendship to that of Jai and Veeru. Amitabh Bachchan has always been the one to create history. The last scene of Sholay made every soul in the theatre feel sorry about the character’s death.

Big B has been unique in every script he has chosen, and all films of his have a different side to showcase. From Vijay Deenanath Chauhan in Agnee Path to Subir in Abhimaan, Debraj Sahai in Black to Harshvardhan Malik in Rann or even being Venkat Subramaniam in his upcoming release Teen Patti, AB has always acted in the shoes of different characters, and stolen hearts effortlessly.

As for the reviews I have read and the few talks I have had with the man himself (okay, don’t get shocked, Yes!! I do meet him once in a while to get all the exclusive update. So chill!!), Rann (http://rann.sify.com/) portrays him as a strong, ethical man of honor, somebody who is fighting a battle against all odds in this world of competition that is loaded with the greed to grow at any cost. Teen Patti http://www.facebook.com/TeenPattiTheMovie on the other hand, that is Mr. Bachchan’s next big release, is about Venkat Subramaniam, a maths professor who believes that everything has a logic and mathematical equation behind its occurrence. From magic to the art of gambling, Mathematics gives a reason for everything.

The man with his charismatic personality has ruled the world for all these years and I am sure he will continue to do so without much difficulty in the future too. From generations to generations, every person dances to his tunes, if my grandfather shakes a leg on Khaike Paan Banaras Wala, my 5 year old niece grooves to beats of Rock & Roll Soniye, this man has made his place in every one’s hearts and take a bet, the place is definitely a permanent and an irreplaceable one.

Rann and Teen Patti are his two new movies that will hit the theatres very soon and no matter how critics rate the film; I personally feel that no movie starring the first man of the Bollywood Film Industry can go without creating an impact. Amit Ji, I really feel that every role you do raises a thousand hopes, not for you to perform better in the next one but for you to never let go this passion of yours which lets us cherish and rejoice the world of Indian Cinema to its fullest.
