On 8th Feb at 6:30pm, Bandra Fort will stand as witness to the recitation of the masterpieces that belong to the most eminent poets of India and Pakistan, Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Faiz Ahmed Faiz. Read by 2 living legends, Amitabh Bachchan and Zia Mohyeddin, some of their greatest poems will brighten the evening of Mumbai City.

Amitabh Bachchan’s association with his father’s poetry has been very deep and intense. The Bachchans got together last year and re-launched Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s Madhushala – The House of Wine to commemorate his 102nd Birth Anniversary.

Amitabh Bachchan loves reciting the poems written by his father and never leaves any occasion when asked to do so. His favorite amongst all is however, Agneepath.
